Climate Information and Historical Data
- National Climatic Data Center (NCDC) - The world's largest weather archive, the only source for official, certified past weather data.
- National Weather Service Climate Pages - Drill down to the your local Weather Forecast Office for free past-weather information.
- Precipitation Frequency Estimates - Probabilistic climate information that relates rainfall magnitudes and durations to how often they occur. (For example, at the airport in Cleveland, OH, 2.64 inches of rain in an hour has a 1% chance of being exceeded in any given year. People often refer to this as the "100-year rainfall" at that location)
- Probable Maximum Precipitation - The greatest depth of rainfall physically possible at a particular location.
