...A statement concerning The Turkey River at Elkader...and Garber...

Recent precipitation and melting snow are resulting in rises on area
rivers, streams, and creeks. However, no flooding is expected at this time.

Turkey River at Elkader...The stage this morning was  8.94 feet.
Flood stage is 12.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 10.10 feet
Monday morning, which is below flood stage.

Turkey River at Garber...The stage this morning was 12.08 feet. Flood
stage is 17.0 feet. The river is forecast to reach 14.70 feet Monday
evening, which is below flood stage.
