.Light snow will overspread the region today and tonight. Snow
will change to sleet and freezing rain Tuesday morning.
Temperatures will warm above freezing in southern, western, and
coastal areas during the morning on Tuesday, while interior areas
may see more prolonged wintry weather.

* WHAT...Wintry precipitation expected. This will result in
  difficult travel conditions, including during the morning
  commute on Tuesday. Total snow accumulations of 1 to 3 inches
  and ice accumulations of up to one tenth of an inch are
  expected.

* WHERE...Western, central, and southern New Hampshire.

* WHEN...From 4 PM this afternoon to noon EST Tuesday.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Light snow is expected today and tonight
  before a period of sleet and freezing rain occurs Tuesday
  morning. The temperature should warm above freezing during the
  morning on Tuesday, allowing the rest of the precipitation to
  fall as rain.

...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM TUESDAY MORNING THROUGH
LATE TUESDAY NIGHT...

The Flood Watch continues for

* Portions of Maine and New Hampshire, including the following
  areas, in Maine, Androscoggin, Coastal Cumberland, Coastal
  Waldo, Coastal York, Interior Cumberland, Interior Waldo,
  Interior York, Kennebec, Knox, Lincoln, Sagadahoc, and
  Southern Oxford. In New Hampshire, Belknap, Cheshire, Coastal
  Rockingham, Eastern Hillsborough, Interior Rockingham,
  Merrimack, Northern Carroll, Northern Grafton, Southern
  Carroll, Southern Grafton, Strafford, Sullivan, and Western
  And Central Hillsborough.

* From Tuesday morning through late Tuesday night

* Ice jams combined with some run off and snow melt.

* Rainfall expected on Tuesday will add additional flow to area
  rivers. Most of these rivers remain affected by ice. Ice jams
  are possible which could lead to flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flood Watch means there is a potential for flooding based on
current forecasts.

You should monitor later forecasts and be alert for possible
Flood Warnings. Those living in areas prone to flooding should be
prepared to take action should flooding develop.
