* Flood Advisory for...
  Southeastern Cedar County in southwestern Missouri...
  Western Polk County in southwestern Missouri...
  Northeastern Dade County in southwestern Missouri...

* Until 100 AM CDT Monday

* At 654 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms. This will cause minor flooding in the advisory area.
  Up to three inches of rain has already fallen.

* Creeks, streams, and low water crossings will be especially
  susceptible to the dangers of flooding.
  Locations in the advisory include...

  Fair Play...                      Dadeville...
  Aldrich...                        Bearcreek...
  Masters...                        Eudora...

This advisory includes but is not limited to the following low water

Route W at Turkey Creek just west of Eudora...
Route M at Bear Creek east of Stockton...
and Highway 215 west of Bona.

The National Weather Service in Springfield has issued a

* Flood Advisory for...
  Northern Greene County in southwestern Missouri...
  Southeastern Dade County in southwestern Missouri...

* Until 215 AM CDT

* At 818 PM CDT, radar indicated thunderstorms producing heavy rain
  in Walnut Grove. Local fire department reported that ditches were
  full and water was beginning to flow into some roadways. Up to two
  inches of rain has already fallen. Minor flooding is possible. If
  additional heavy rainfall continues then a Flash Flood Warning
  will be issued.

* Creeks, streams, and low water crossings will be especially
  susceptible to the dangers of flooding.

and Farm Road 68 at The Sac River west of Ash Grove.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

* At 855 PM CDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to
  thunderstorms over the city of Springfield. This will cause minor
  street flooding in Springfield. Up to one inch of rain has already
  fallen. An Additional one to two inches is possible.

* Creeks, streams, and low water crossings will be especially
  susceptible to the dangers of flooding.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Excessive runoff from heavy rainfall will cause flooding of small
creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as
well as other drainage areas and low lying spots.
