Flood Impacts 🅘

  • 10 - Flooding of this magnitude rivals the flooding that occurred during the Hurricane of 1938 and Hurricane Carol. Life threatening flooding more than 3 feet deep affects coastal roads from Falmouth to Hyannisport. Follow the instructions of local officials and evacuate if asked to do so. Find alternate travel routes.
  • 8 - This extent of flooding is rarely seen and can be life threatening. Many coastal roads from Falmouth to Hyannisport are flooded with water more than 3 feet deep. Debris washes onto roads when large waves occur. Follow the advice of local officials and find alternate travel routes.
  • 6.7 - Widespread flooding of coastal areas from Falmouth to Hyannisport is expected. Some roads may be impassable with 1 to 2 feet of water including portions of Church Street, SurfDrive, Menahaunt Road, and Ocean Avenue. Wave action can bring debris onto immediatecoastal roads.
