31 CATASTROPHIC, LIFE THREATENING FLOODING WILL OCCUR FROM HAVERHILL AND MERRIMAC TO AMESBURY AND NEWBURYPORT. FLOODING IS EXECTED TO EXCEED THE FLOOD OF RECORD, FROM MARCH 1936. THE SEAWALL IN DOWNTOWN HAVERHILL WILL BE OVERTOPPED. WIDESPREAD EVACUATIONS ALONG THE RIVER ARE LIKELY. DOCKS AND BOATS, IF NOT REMOVED FROM THE WATER, WILL LIKELY BE DESTROYED. MARINAS WILL BE SEVERELY IMPACTED. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS OF LOCAL OFFICIALS, AND STAY AWAY FROM THESE FLOODWATERS.

THE HAVERHILL SEAWALL IS EXPECTED TO OVERTOP...STRETCHES OF DOWNTOWN HAVERHILL WILL BE INNUNDATED. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS OF LOCAL OFFICIALS. MARINAS WILL BE SEVERELY IMPACTED. DOCKS AND BOATS, IF NOT OUT OF THE WATER, WILL LIKELY BE DESTROYED.
