32 This is a major, life threatening flood. People in flood prone areas at stages above 30 feet should prepare to evacuate. Follow the directions from emergency management officals. Serious flood impacts are expected at some factories along the river. Act quickly. Know alternate routes of travel to avoid flooded areas, and bridges that may be shut down.
30 Low lying roads in the vicinity of the river are expected to flood. Some homes along the river, as well as factories, will experience flooding as well. Heed advice from local officials, especially if asked to evacuate. Know alternate routes around Lawrence in case bridges crossing the river in the city are shut down.
28 Flooding is expected on some of the lower lying roads along the river in and around Lawrence. Know your alternate routes of travel so you can avoid these areas. Should evacuations become necessary, follow the directions provided emergency management officials.
26 Lowland flooding is expected along the Merrimack River near Lawrence. This will affect some businesses along the river.
