Flood Impacts & Photos Collapse
12 Flood waters inundated into first floors of several structures in North Industry and Howenstine. Several roads flooded. Homes on Cheyenne Street Flooded. Canton High School inundated.
11 Significant flooding possible along the Nimishillen Creek. Water several feet deep expected in low lying areas and roads.
9.5 Widespread flooding can be expected North of North Industry along the Nimishillen Creek from Ridge Ave. north to Allenford and from Howenstine to North Industry.
8.5 SEVERAL LOW LYING ROADS NEAR THE CREEKS FLOODED. THIS INCLUDES SOUTHEAST BAUM STREET...CHEYENNE STREET...AND SOUTHEAST SPARTA AVENUE. BAUM STREET BRIDGE FLOODED.
8 LOW LYING PORTIONS OF CHEYENNE STREET...SOUTHEAST SPARTA AVENUE...AND ALLENFORD AVENUE THREATENED.
7.5 CHEYENNE STREET FLOODED AND IMPASSABLE.
7 CREEK OUT OF BANKS. THREATENING LOW LYING ROADS BETWEEN NORTH INDUSTRY AND HOWENSTINE.

The gage was moved to a bridge upstream of its previous location on April 29th. This move will necessitate an evaluation of the flood stages and impact statements. NWS survey crews will evaluate these levels and update as needed.
