20 FLOODWATERS INUNDATE MOST OF NORTHERN, WESTERN, AND SOUTHERN PROSPECT.
18 FLOOD WATERS THREATENS THE ROUTE 47 BRIDGE WITH WIDESPREAD FLOODING ALONG NORTHERN PARTS OF TOWN WEST OF 5TH STREET. FLOOD WATERS THREATEN MAIN STREET IN DOWNTOWN PROSPECT. MANY ROADS IN AND OUT OF TOWN ARE INUNDATED.
17 WIDESPREAD FLOODING OCCURS NORTHERN PARTS OF PROSPECT. THE MOST SIGNIFICANT FLOODING OCCURS ON NORTH ELM STREET, NORTHEAST STREET, SELLERS STREET, AND MULBERRY STREET.

THE MODERATE AND MAJOR FLOOD STAGES AT PROSPECT HAVE BEEN RAISED RECENTLY. THE ADDITION OF A NEW BRIDGE IN TOWN WIDENED THE RIVER CHANNEL NECESSITATED THESE CHANGES. THESE CHANGES WERE PRE-COORDINATED WITH LOCAL AND COUNTY OFFICIALS.
