22.8 MAJOR FLOODING IS EXPECTED. FLOODING WILL BE SIMILAR TO THE FLOODING ON SEPTEMBER 17, 2004.
20.7 MAJOR FLOODING OF AREAS ALONG THE RIVER. FLOODING WILL BE SIMILAR TO THE FLOODING THAT OCCURRED ON SEPTEMBER 8, 2004.
18 US HIGHWAY 19 AND 23 WILL BE FLOODED AND CLOSED IN CLYDE.
17.2 SEVERAL BRIDGES IN CANTON AND FIBREVILLE WILL BE CLOSED.
17 AT THIS LEVEL SOME LOW LYING AREAS ON THE LEFT BANK IN THE CHAMPION PAPER COMPANY AREA WILL BEGIN TO FLOOD.
16 HOMES AND BUSINESSES BETWEEN THE PIGEON RIVER AND HYDER MOUNTAIN AND THICKETY ROADS WILL BE FLOODED.
15.4 HOMES IN FIBREVILLE AND CLYDE NEAR THE RIVER WILL BE FLOODED.
14.5 BUSINESSES IN CANTON NEAR THE RIVER WILL BEGIN TO FLOOD.
14 SOME HOMES AND STORES ALONG SORRELLS...WATERS AND PENLAND STREETS WILL BEGIN TO FLOOD.
12.5 A TRAILER PARK NEAR OLD HIGHWAY 19 AND 23 OUTSIDE OF CLYDE WILL FLOOD. HOMES ALONG RICHLAND... HYATT AND ALLENS CREEKS WILL BE IN DANGER OF FLOODING...DUE TO RUNOFF AND BACK WATER FROM THE PIGEON RIVER.
12 AT THIS LEVEL CHAMPION PAPER COMPANY WILL NEED TO TAKE PREVENTATIVE FLOOD ACTION AT THE PLANT. AREAS ON THE RIGHT BANK OF THE RIVER NEAR CANTON WILL BEGIN TO FLOOD. THIS INCUDES HOMES ON FIBERVILLE ROAD AND WILL FLOOD PARTS OF VALLEY, NORTH AND CONLEY STREETS.
11 THE RIVER WILL OVERFLOW ITS BANKS AND START TO FLOOD LOW LYING AREAS IN CLYDE.
10 WATER SURROUNDS SOME HOMES ON AND NEAR FIBERVILLE ROAD.
9 WATER BEGINS TO FLOOD PARTS OF VANCE STREET CLOSEST TO THE RIVER AND SOME PARTS OF FIBERVILLE ROAD.
