13.5 HOMES UP AND DOWN STREAM OF GAGE BEGIN TO FLOOD.
11 WATER APPROACHS HOMES UP AND DOWN STREAM OF GAGE SITE.
10 AT THIS STAGE OLD JOHNS RIVER ROAD DOWNSREAM FROM GAGE WILL LIKELY BE FLOODED IN LOW AREAS ALONG RIVER.A SEASONAL CAMPGROUND WILL ALSO BE FLOODED AND EDGEMONT BAPTIST CH ROAD WILL FLOOD.
9 WILSON CREEK ROAD WILL BE FLOODED.
8 CAMPERS ALONG WILSON CREEK MAY BECOME STRANDED AND BRIDGES IN GORGE WILL BE CLOSE TO FLOODING. PARTS OF KILLIANS CAMPGROUND OFF OF BROWN MOUNTAIN BEACH ROAD WILL LIKELY BE FLOODED RIGHT NEXT TO THE CREEK.
6.5 BANKFULL .. 6.5 HERE.... BUT BROWN MOUNTAIN BEACH AND EDGEMONT ROADS DOWNSTREAM WILL HAVE WATER OVERTOPPING BRIDGES.
5.5 AT THIS STAGE THE RIVER WILL BE ABOUT 1.5 FT FROM BOTTOM OF BROWN MOUNTAIN BEACH ROAD AND EDGEMONT ROAD BRIDGES.
5.46 AT THIS STAGE THE RIVER WILL BE ABOUT 1.5 FT FROM BOTTOM OF BROWN MOUNTAIN BEACH ROAD AND EDGEMONT ROAD BRIDGES.
5 5.0 FT IS BANKFULL FURTHER DOWNSTREAM... WILL START TO AFFECT THE BROWN MOUNTAIN BEACH AREA.
4.5 4 TO 6 INCH IN 12 HOURS IN THE HEADWATERS OF WILSON AND JOHNS RIVER WILL CAUSE FLOODING ALONG BOTH STREAMS. EDGEMONT GAGE ROSE TO 9 FT.
4 4.0 AT THIS SITE CAUSED THE RIVER TO RISE TO 9.3 FT. THE GRANDFATHER MEADOWS (IN AVERY COUNTY) ALSO HAD AROUND 4 TO 5 INCHES. IT HAS BEEN NOTED BEFORE THAT THERE WAS A SECOND CREST HERE (4 HRS LATER) WHEN THE GRANDFATHER MEADOWS GAGE (IN HEADWATERS) HAD HEAVY RAIN TOO.
2.75 2.75 TO 3 INCHES IN HEADWATERS IN 6 HOURS WILL CAUSE A RISE OF 4 TO 5 FT ON WILSON CREEK AT EGMN7. ANTHONY CREEK ROAD HAS FLOODED BEFORE WITH THIS RAIN FALL CAUSED BY ANTONY CREEK OVERFLOWING BANKS.
2.5 2.5 INCH IN 1 HR HERE WILL LIKELY CAUSE FLOODING IN THE MORTIMER CAMPGROUND WHICH IS 2 MILES SSE OF GAGE. RAINFALL WILL FLOW INTO WILSON CREEK. RIVER ROSE 2.5 FT RAIN IN HEADWATERS OF EGMN7 WILL CAUSE A 4 TO 5 FT RISE.
