76 This is the flood of record which was set in January 1937. The entire floodplain is inundated. Much of Highway 52 is flooded...and many low lying residences and businesses must be evacuated. Nearly all of Augusta Kentucky is under water...as well as Higginsport...Chilo...Foster and Neville...with 10 feet or more of water in areas of these communities.
70 Flooding as deep as 8 to 10 feet occurs in Augusta...Higginsport...Chilo...Foster and Neville. A flood of this magnitude is beyond the FEMA 1 percent flood...with the entire floodplain inundated.
66 The Villages of Moscow and Neville are completely flooded. Major backwater flooding into creeks and streams occurs over Clermont...Brown...Bracken and Pendleton Counties. Much of U.S. 52 is under water....including as major inundation of homes and businesses in Chilo...Foster...Neville...Augusta and Higginsport.
64 The floodplain is unundated...with flood depths of several feet of water into the communities of Neville...Moscow...Higginsport...Augusta...Foster and Chilo. A flood of this level equates roughly to the FEMA 1 percent flood.
63 The Village of Neville becomes inaccessible and much of Moscow becomes flooded. Large amounts of property damage can be expected and evacuations of homes and businesses becomes widespread. US 52 is flooded in long stretches.
61 The entire Village of Neville in Clermont County becomes flooded. Much of US 52 is impassible for long stretches. Significant lowland and backwater flooding can be expected along the river.
58 Much of the Village of Neville floods...with evacuations of homes and businesses becoming necessary. Significant backwater flooding occurs along creeks and streams emptying into the Ohio River. US 52 becomes flooded in many low areas.
55 The Village of Neville Ohio begins to experience lowland flooding...while backwater flooding along creeks and streams results in lowland flooding along the river. Route 52 becomes cut off in southern Clermont County at Bear Creek and Maple Creek near Neville.
54 Route 52 and State Route 232 near Point Pleasant Ohio are covered with water...while backwater flooding near the river worsens in Clermont...Brown...Bracken and Pendleton Counties.
53 Water rises over Route 52 below the locks...and backwater flooding continues along several creeks and streams in Clermont and Brown counties in Ohio and Bracken and Pendleton Counties in Kentucky. Portions of Route 52 in Ohio and low areas between route 8 and the river in Kentucky are flooded.
52 Lowland flooding of streets near Neville continues. Water covers Route 52 near State route 232 in Point Pleasant...with backwater flooding up Big Indian Creek resulting in high water along stretches of route 232 close to the river.
51 Lowland and backwater flooding impacts some roads in southern Clermont and Brown Counties in Ohio and Bracken County in Kentucky. Jones Bradford Road floods near Kentucky route 8 in Bracken county.
50 Lowland flooding near the river increases...as well as backwater flooding in southern Clermont and Brown counties in Ohio and Bracken County in Kentucky.
