28 AT THIS STAGE, THE WEST ATCHAFALYA BASIN PROTECTION LEVEE WILL BE OVERTOPPED FLOODING PARTS OF THE CITY OF CHARENTON. RIVER NAVIGATION WILL BECOME MORE DIFFICULT AND BOATING CAUTION IS URGED.
26 THE RIVER WILL OVERTOP THE LEVEE AT ITS LOWEST POINTS. SANDBAGGING OF LOW LEVEE SECTIONS FROM CHARENTON DOWNSTREAM TO NEAR FRANKLIN IS RECOMMENDED. RIVER NAVIGATION WILL BECOME MORE DIFFICULT AND BOATING CAUTION IS URGED.
