30 The top of the levee is reached, and water will begin to overtop the levees. Major flooding of Presidio and surrounding farmland is likely.
28.21 the river reaches record stage for the period of record (1978). A higher stage was reached in 1932, but the exact stage is unknown. FM 170 remains flooded downstream of Presidio. Farmland adjacent to the river remains inundated.
25.78 the river reaches record stage for the period of record (1978). A higher stage was reached in 1932, but the exact stage is unknown. FM 170 will be flooded downstream of Presidio. Farmland around the river will remain inundated.
25 the river remains between the levees at Presidio, although continued flows at this level could cause damage to the levees. FM 170 downstream will likely be flooded and impassable in spots. Farmland around the river will continue to inundate.
22.9 the river reaches major flood stage. While water remains between the levees at Presidio, areas downstream may experience significant flooding. FM 170 downstream of Presidio will flood in low spots. Farmland along the river will be inundated.
20 the river reaches moderate flood stage, inundating the plain between the levees. Erosion of the levees is likely. Water may seep through the levees, flooding adjacent farmland.
15.5 the river reaches minor flood stage, and flooding between the levees occurs. No damage to structures is expected.
12 the river reaches bankfull, after which the flood plain between the levees begins to flood. No damage is expected.
