50.9 Record flood of 1937. All land east of the Arkansas Levee to the Tennessee Bluffs across the the river is under 15 to 25 feet of water.
50 Many houses along Crawford Road East are flooded...especially those near Crutcher Lake Road.
47 Farm headquarters near the intersection of Coon Valley and Herring Hill Roads is being flooded.
46 Water is very high on the Arkansas Levee. All homesteads along Crawford Road West are flooded.
45 Farmstead on Island 37 is totally flooded.
44 Camp on Sunrise Towhead is almost all covered. All fields in the Barfield Point Area are awash.
43 All houses along Route 19 are awash. Place at north end of Grainery Road is still not flooded. Camp on west side of Island 34 is completely flooded. Water has crept into buildings on the west side of Ballard Slough Road. Many sections of Herring Hill Road are now is deep water.
42 The house at the south end of Outbounds Road is awash. Road to Bunge terminal inside levee is under water. Fields are flooding north of the Hatchie River east past Ft. Pillow State Prison. Herring Hill Road isflooding just north of the Shelby County line.
41 Road going to Poinsett Rice and Grain Terminal is coverd. Stilt house right north of Fullen Landing is being flooded. Houses at the south end of Outbounds are flooding as is the homestead at the northeast end of Outbounds Road right on Open Lake. Most of Highway 19 is awash. Island 35 is essentially all covered. Bottomland south of Richardson's Landing is under water.
40 Water is overflowing a house on Sunk Lake Road. Houses east of Outbounds Road and west of Conner Road are flooding. The homestead at the north end of Grainery Road right on the river bank is blanketed. Ashport is unindated. Houses all along Highway 19 are being covered. Centennial Island is completely flooded.
39 Most all of Golddust is flooded as is Highway 19 West. Ashport is flooding. Crawford Road East is under water at places. Trailer settlement south of Coker Slough is covered. Farmstead at Tomato, AR is under water. Moore Farmstead is being covered by flood water. Houses on Cash Road are flooding. Morgan Point isflooded. Hunting Camp on Sunrise Towhead is beginning to flood. Farmstead on Sniper Island west of Herring Hill Road is going under water.
38 The houses on Grammer Road are flooding, and escape roads are covered. Homesteads between Johnston Road and Sunk Lake Road on Highway 19 West are flooding. House at south end of Oscar Griggs Road is flooding. Ashport is flooding. Houses between Golddust and Johnson Lake between Highway 19 West and the Mississippi River are flooding. Settlement between Coker Slough and Highway 19 is flooding. Water is overflowing the farm headquarters just north of the Sunk Lake Road and Long Hole Road junction.
37 Houses along west part of Grammer Road are flooding, and evacuation is cut. Highway 19 is flooded southwest of Grammer Road. Homesteads located at the north end of Four Mile Road are flooding. The south end of Grainery Road is inundated. Golddust and home northeast of Ashport on Route 19 are flooding. Sunk Lake Road is flooded north of Long Hole Road stopping evacuations. Homesteads along Highway 19 West just east of T. Rossinger Road are going under water. Farmstead on Island 37 floods.
36 Farmsteads around Keyes Point are flooding. All evacuation roads from Keyes Point and Golddust are flooded. Ashport and many homesteads along Route 19 are flooding. Farmstead at Tomato, AR is flooding. Poinsett Rice and Grain Terminal is flooding. All fields between Barfield Point and the Arkansas Levee are inundated. Houses on the north side of Corona Lake are being covered. House on Brandywine Road is flooded. Coon Valley Road is going under flood water.
35 Tennessee Highway 19 West at Johnson Lake is under 2 feet of water at the lowest part. Homesteads on the west end of Grammer Road and along Crawford Road West are flooding. All the farmland east of the levee at Craighead Point is flooded. Bunge Terminal is being flooded. Sans Souci Landing is almost totally flooded. Tellier Island is almost all flooded. The ghost town of Tomato, Arkansas being covered.
34 The southernmost house on Crutcher Lake Road in Tennessee is flooding. Highway 19 West is flooded at Johnson Lake. All settlements southwest of Ashport are cutoff. Houses and farmsteads just west of the north end of T. Rossinger Road are beginning to flood. Shoals Landing and Oscar Griggs Roads are flooded. Homesteads on the east end of Outbounds Road are flooding. Floodwater from the North Bottom of Lauderdale County is now rushing over Barr Road into the South Bottom of Lauderdale County.
33 Tennessee Highway 19 West is flooding east of Johnson Lake southwest of Ashport. Settlement on Crawford Road East north of Fort Pillow is beginning to flood. T. Rossinger, Conner and Jack Rabbit Roads are flooded. West leg of Crutcher Lake Road is flooding stopping evacuations. Farmstead on Highway 19 just west of the north end of T. Rossinger is beginning to flood. Long Hole Road is covered. Most homesteads along Cold Creek Road are flooded. Old Middle Fork Forked Deer River is flowing west.
32 Kirkpatrick Road and Conner Road are flooding. Backwater has reached the west leg of Crutcher Lake Road south of Keyes Point. Bunge Terminal area inside levee is beginning to flood. West end of Corona Road on Island 37 starts flooding. Brandywine Road is beginning to flood. River water is covering parts of Ballard Slough Road and Ruleman Road. Fields and pastures west of Herring Hill Road are beiing inundated.
31 Nix Road is flooded. Low spots on Four Mile Road is flooded are inundated. Snyder Bluff and northern Sam Taylor Roads are flooding. Sunk Lake Road is covered north of Bee Lake. Fields on Morgan Point are being covered.
30 The Reach Coker Slough hunting camp is flooded. Crawford Road West just north of Fort Pillow State Park is going under water. Houses are flooding along Cold Creek Road. Four Mile Road is flooding, and Champion Lake Road is being flooded by Hatchie River backwater. High water has stopped grain barge loading at Poinsett Rice and Grain Terminal. Flood water is flowing over the bank onto farmland in the Craighead Point Area inside the levee. Highway 120 is flooded between O'Donnell Bend and the levee.
29 Crutcher Lake Road is flooded north of Cold Creek Bridge. Settlement along Cold Creek Road is beginning to flood. Sam Taylor Road is flooded near the south end. Crutcher Lake Road inside the levee near Craighead Point is beginning to flood at a few places. Tennessee Mississippi County, Arkansas Roads 919 and 330 are under water at lowest places. Pumphouse area for the power plant south of Osceola is flooded. Arkansas County Road 924 begin to flood and isolate a house on Island 34.
28 Crutcher Lake Road is flooding just north of Cold Creek at Fort Pillow State Park. The settlement on Cold Creek Road is flooding. The Reach Coker Slough hunting camp is flooding along Nix Road. Outbounds Road is flooded making evacuation hard. Grammer Road is flooded at Jones Slough. The Osceola Port Terminal Area is beginning to flood. Mississippi County Road 903 north of O'Donnell Bend is flooded at places. Sections of Crane Road are flooded on Island 35. Homesteads and camps on Cash Road are cutoff.
27 Field flooding is extensive in the Outbounds Road area. High water interfers with grain barge loading at the Poinsett Rice and Grain elevator. Backwater is touching most of the levee just north of Osceola on north past Mississippi County, Arkansas Road 330 in the Barfield Point vicinity. Mississippi County, Arkansas Road 430 is flooded across from Tellier Island. Road from Butler, Arkansas to Craighead Point is under water. Food plots are flooding in the Lower Hatchie National Wildlife Refuge.
26 Cold Creek is now running south out of Open Lake due to Mississippi River headwater flooding. Jones Slough is flowing north to Grammer Road. Many sloughs are beginning to flood fields. Brandywine Camp begins to go under water.
25 Cold Creek has backed to near Sunk Lake Road. Fields and pastures south of Fulton are flooding. County roads inside the levee east of Luxora and south of Rosa are being flooded by Mill Bayou.
24 The Mississippi River has topped its east bank over Morris Road and is flowing directly into Open Lake. Rapee Bayou inside the levee at the Craighead Point area is backing into fields. Mississippi County, Arkansas Road 442 is flooded at Mill Bayou just inside the levee.
23 Cold Creek, Old Lower Forked Deer River, and Old Middle Fork Forked Deer River are all flowing backwards. Pastures and fields are beginning to flood on Island 35.
22 The Mississippi River is about to go over its bank northwest of Open Lake. Adams Bayou is backed to Sam Taylor Road. Fields are flooding west of John Tully State Wildlife Management Area south of Crutcher Lake Road. Old Middle Fork Forked Deer River is rising due to backwater.
21 Cold Creek is backing under Grammer Road. Old Middle Fork Forked Deer River is backed past Barr Road Bridge. Pastures are beginning to flood on Centennial Island near Willow Lake.
20 Cold Creek has backed to near Green Chapel Road.
19 Old Lower Fork Forked Deer River is backed up to the south bottom basin boundary west of Open Lake. Backwater has reached Cotton Slough north of Cold Creek.
18 Road to Brandywine Island is flooded just east of Brandywine Hunting Club. Mississippi River is making the Old Lower Fork Forked Deer River flow backward all the way past Outbounds Road.
17 Missippi River is flowing up Jones Slough.
16 The Mississippi River has backed up Cold Creek all the way north to Old River Slough and northeast past the northern end of Sam Taylor Road.
15 Mississippi River is backing into The Chute and Cold Creek north of Fort Pillow State Park. Hatchie River is backed up to Indian Creek Road.
