130 Georgia State Highway 62 will begin to flood.
125 The railroad tracks between Columbia Alabama and the Railroad Bridge will flood.
124 The railroad at the Georgia Pacific Plant will begin to flood. Residences along the river at Columbia, Gordon, and the Confederate Naval Yard will experience significant flooding.
122 Water will be 3 to 4 feet deep around the homes at Columbia and Gordon.
119 Roads near Georgia Pacific Plant will be flooded.
118 There will be significant erosion along the river banks. In 1978, this resulted in caving in of the banks with some damage to walls and outbuildings.
114 At this level, water will reach the top of the lock walls and the Columbia Lock and Dam will be evacuated.
112 Water will begin to flood primary road access to homes in Gordon.
106 Access to private residences will be restricted at the Confederate Naval Landing. Water will be up to 3 feet deep in some areas.
101 Boat ramps at the Confederate Naval Landing will begin to flood.

1150 cfs Minimum flow required for discharge of treated effluent into the river to assimilate waste and ensure that water quality criteria will be met.
2000 cfs Minimum flow to meet the assimilative capacity needs for Georgia Pacific and Farley Nuclear Plant
800 cfs The Georgia Power Projects above Columbus are required in their Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC) licenses to provide 1,850 cfs weekly average, 1,350 cfs daily average, and 800 cfs instantaneous minimum flow at Columbus.
