** 10/14/2014...IMPORTANT: Effective November 14 2014...The gage zero datum at the Des Plaines, IL USGS streamgage was changed by 10.0 feet. At that time, all river stages, existing flood thresholds, and impacts were increased by 10 feet. For example, flood stage was changed from 5.0 ft to 15.0 ft. All historical crests were adjusted to the new datum as well. **
