39.61 Flood of record. September 2011. Over 90 percent of Owego was inundated by deep flood waters.
36 Flooding inundates Route 17C and spreads over to the east side of Owego along E. Front Street and E. Main Street. The west side of Owego is inundated past Paige and Franklin Streets.
35.9 This was the flood level of the June 2006 flood.
35 Widespread flooding occurs in Owego to the west of Route 96. Route 17C along 5th Avenue floods.
33 Major flood stage. Flood waters cut off McMaster Street around Elm and Temple Streets. Extensive basement to first floor flooding occurs along the south side of Front Street and 5th Avenue in Owego.
32.97 This was the flood level of the severe snowmelt flood of January 20, 1996.
32 Moderate flood stage. A portion of Route 17C west of Owego is threatened by flood waters. A section of Nichols begins to flood. Some flooding expands across Elm Street and Foundry Street in Owego. Homes and businesses begin to flood along Route 17C east of Front Street.
31.97 This is the flood level of April 11, 1993.
31 Flooding leaks over portions of River and Williams Streets to Route 17C behind the Price Chopper. Basement flooding increases between Hickories Park and Downtown, including near the Owego Walk-In Health Care building. The Fairgrouds are inundated.
30 Flood stage. Backyards of homes and businesses right along the northern edge of the river begin to flood. Hickories Park floods. Flood waters back up along Owego Creek into the Fairgrounds and portions of Route 96.
29 Caution stage. Owego Creek begins backing up and spreading toward the Fairgrounds.
