32 Water backs up into the park in Hawarden, and some basements and sewers could begin to have problems.
30.5 Iowa Highway 10 begins to flood.
30 South Dakota Highway 46 begins to flood north of Hawarden.
29.5 County Road 13 begins to flood west of Hawarden.
28.5 River Road begins to flood about 1 1/2 miles south of County Road 13.
24 Some farm houses on the South Dakota side of the river are isolated by high water.
20.5 Agricultural flooding begins on the South Dakota side of the river.

This location became the official NWS river forecast point for the Big Sioux River near Hawarden on January 1, 2017. On Wednesday, April 11, 2018, the elevation defining Flood Stage for HWDI4 will be changed from 19.0 feet to 20.5 feet. How low could the river get?
