25 This is roughly equal to the FEMA 1 percent flood. Homes along and east of Yale Avenue...Woodlawn Avenue and Western Avenue incur flooded yards...with the lowest lying homes also flooded. Low lying flooding also occurs along Janet Avenue. Stretches of Dayton Cincinnati Pike are also flooded.
23 Major flooding occurs along the river from south of Miamisburg downstream to near Chautaqua, the outer limits of Carlisle near the river, and areas of Franklin south of South Street along Oxford Road. Numerous roadways and properties along the river are flooded, mainly along and near Franklin-Trenton Road outside of flood protected areas. Evacuations of some homes become necessary in some low-lying areas near the river. Miamisburg itself is protected at this level by levees and flood walls.
22 Widespread flooding occurs along the river from south of Miamisburg downstream to near Chautaqua, the outer limits of Carlisle near the river, and areas of Franklin south of South Street along Oxford Road. Several roads on the outer limits of Miamisburg close to the river are flooded. Miamisburg and most of Franklin are protected by flood walls and levees, but flooding does occur downstream of South Street along Dayton-Oxford Road.
20 Widespread flooding continues along the river from south of Miamisburg to near Chautauqua and Franklin. Low-lying roads near the river continue to flood, and water approaches some homes. Flooded roads include Dayton-Cincinnati Pike between Brenner and Chautauqua Roads, portions of Lower Miamisburg Road, and upper River Road from Soldier Home Road to areas just south of Dayton.
18 Lowland flooding occurs from south of Miamisburg to Franklin and near Carlisle. Some low-lying roadways become flooded, mainly along low sections of Dayton-Oxford Road.
17 Lowland flooding occurs from south of Miamisburg to Franklin, Carlisle, Trenton and New Miami. Water begins to spill onto low-lying roadways, mainly along portions of Dayton-Oxford Road.
