29 Many homes in Sanders have from several inches to up to 2 feet of water into the first floor. This crest is similar to the March 1997 flood.
27 This level is just below the FEMA 1 percent flood elevation. Several structures on either side of Eagle Creek near Sparta are flooded, mainly along Route 35 and Old Sparta Road in Owen County. Some flooding along Lick Creek near Sanders occurs, with flooding of property near route 47. Stretches of route 467 are also flooded. Route 1132 in Grant County is also flooded in some areas.
24 Flooding impacts some homes and out buildings in Sparta as well as Sanders, with some low lying stretches of Route 467 and 36 flooded.
20 McDaniel Street in Sanders and Route 36 near Sparta is closed due to high water, with Old Sparta Road near Sparta also closed due to backwater flooding.
19 Flooding along McDaniel Street and Route 36 near Sanders occurs, as well as minor flooding onto Old Sparta Road near Sparta due to backwater flooding.
18 Flood waters reach to near McDaniel Street and Route 36 in Sanders, with water extending onto the edges of Old Sparta road.
