17 devastating flooding occurs from Fidlers Bend to Chewey Bridge. Permanent campgrounds are severely flooded. Much of the Fidlers Bend area is flooded for a prolonged period. This is an extremely dangerous and life threatening situation.
15 severe flooding occurs from Fidlers Bend to Chewey Bridge. Farmland and permanent campgrounds are affected. Several cabins in the Fidlers Bend area are flooded or isolated for prolonged periods. This is an extremely dangerous and life threatening situation.
13 moderate flooding occurs from Fidlers Bend to Chewey Bridge. Floating the Illinois River is unsafe. Permanent campgrounds and a few cabins may become isolated by high water.
11 minor flooding occurs from Fidlers Bend to Chewey Bridge. Permanent campgrounds and farmlands are affected. Turbulence makes the river unsafe for floating.
8 Flint Creek threatens individual campsites and becomes dangerous for recreational floating.
