The National Weather Service in Aberdeen has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Northern Dewey County in north central South Dakota...

* Until 145 AM MDT.

* At 1258 AM MDT, a severe thunderstorm was located 9 miles south of
  Isabel, or 16 miles north of Lantry, moving east at 60 mph.

  HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage
           to roofs, siding, and trees.

* Locations impacted include...
  Timber Lake, Isabel, Firesteel, Tiospaye Topa School, Little Moreau
  Rec Area, Promise, White Horse, Bear Creek, Green Grass, Laplant,
  Glencross and Ridgeview.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

To report severe weather, contact your nearest law enforcement
agency. They will send your report to the National Weather Service
office in Aberdeen.

* At 15.0 feet...Significant amounts of agricultural lands are

  and 1 1/2 mile east of Ashton.
