The Flood Warning continues for the Mississippi River.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A followup Flood Statement will be issued Saturday morning or sooner if
conditions warrant.

For graphical river and flood information...please go to
www.weather.gov and click near Memphis on the map, then select Rivers
and Lakes.

Do not drive through flooded areas...turn around don`t drown.

Stay tuned to your weather radio and your local news media for the
latest river information.

The Flood Warning continues for
  the Mississippi River at Caruthersville
* until Wednesday January 29.
* At 06 PM Friday the stage was 36.8 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring AND Minor flooding is forecast.
* Maximum forecast stage of 37.2 feet on Sunday January 19.
* Flood stage is 32.0 feet.
* The river rose above flood stage Saturday January 11 and will
  continue rising to near 37.2 feet by Sunday January 19. The river
  will fall below flood stage Wednesday January 29.
* At 37.0 feet...In Missouri, grounds at the casino at Caruthersville
  are beginning to flood. Farmstead southeast of Cottonwood Point is
  beginning to flood. In Arkansas, the elevator near Huffman is
  flooding. Much of Hickman Landing is covered. In Tennessee, Heloise
  and the east leg of Miss Kelly Loop is flooding.

The Flood Warning continues for
  the Mississippi River at Osceola
* until Wednesday January 29.
* At 06 PM Friday the stage was 32.2 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring AND Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Maximum forecast stage of 33.7 feet on Monday January 20.
* Flood stage is 28.0 feet.
* The river rose above flood stage Sunday January 12 and will
  continue rising to near 33.7 feet by Monday January 20. The river
  will fall below flood stage Wednesday January 29.
* At 34.0 feet...In Tennessee, Highway 19 is flooding at Johnson
  Lake. Houses and farmsteads just west of the north end of T.
  Rossinger Road are beginning to flood. Oscar Griggs Road, Conner
  Road, and Long Hole Road are beginning to flood. Western sections
  of Grammer Road are beginning to flood, making evacuation from
  homesteads difficult.
