* WHAT...Urban and small stream flooding caused by excessive
  rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of southwest Michigan, including the following
  counties, Allegan and Ottawa.

* WHEN...Until 445 AM EDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
  Dangerous flows over low-water crossings. Water over roadways.
  Overflowing poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1034 PM EDT, Radar and automated rain gauges indicated
    heavy rain. This is causing urban and small stream flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Holland

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Turn around, don`t drown when encountering flooded roads. Most flood
deaths occur in vehicles.

    heavy rain. This is causing urban and small stream flooding.
  - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
    Grand Rapids, Wyoming, Kentwood, Walker, Grandville, East
    Grand Rapids, Jenison, Gerald R. Ford International Airport,
    Cutlerville, Byron Center, Dutton and Jamestown.

...The National Weather Service in Grand Rapids MI has issued a
Flood Watch for the following rivers in Michigan...

  Muskegon River at Newaygo affecting Newaygo County.

  Muskegon River at Bridgeton affecting Newaygo County.

.Several rounds of rain as well as some melting snow up near
Houghton Lake will result in rising water levels on the Muskegon
River over the next few days. Depending on exactly how much
additional rain falls this evening, locations along the river near
Newaygo and Bridgeton could reach minor flooding levels by Sunday
and continue through early next week.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

If you are in the watch area, remain alert to possible flooding.

Residents and those with interests near the river should monitor
rising water levels and be prepared for possible flood warnings.

* WHERE...Muskegon River at Bridgeton.

* WHEN...From Sunday evening to Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...At 13.0 feet, Water overflows the banks into wooded
  areas.
  At 14.0 feet, Flood water begins surrounding cottages and homes
  downstream from the City of Newaygo in the areas of Leisure Land
  Subdivision in Bridgeton Township.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 1:00 PM EDT Friday the stage was 10.2 feet.
  - Forecast...Flood stage may be reached Sunday evening.
  - Flood stage is 13.0 feet.

  minor flooding begins in low lying areas along the river.
  At 12.0 feet, Flood water begins surrounding cottages and homes
  downstream from the City of Newaygo in the area of Sycamore Flats
  in Ashland Township.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 12:45 PM EDT Friday the stage was 9.3 feet.
  - Forecast...Flood stage may be reached Sunday morning.
  - Flood stage is 11.0 feet.
