  the French Broad River At Blantyre.
* Until Saturday afternoon.
* At 8:46 AM EDT Friday the stage was 18.9 feet.
* Flood stage is 16.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.
* Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours ending
  at 8:46 AM EDT Friday was 19.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage just
  after midnight tonight and continue falling to 8.3 feet Wednesday
  morning.
* Impact...At 19.0 feet, The river is overtopping the railroad
  tracks and floodwaters may threaten a trailer park on River Ridge
  Rd. Floodwaters may approach buildings north of Grove Bridge Road
  along US 64. Parts of River Road, Pleasant Grove Rd., Butler
  Bridge Rd. and Big Willow Rd. are flooding. Associated
  tributaries, including Little River, are likely flooding due to
  high water levels on the French Broad River.

* Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 25.0 feet
  tomorrow morning. It will then fall below flood stage tomorrow
  afternoon.
* Impact...At 18.0 feet, Minor flooding of mainly farmlands on both
  banks.
* Impact...At 21.0 feet, Lower level primitive campsites at the
  Thousand Trails Preserve off US64 begin to flood.
* Impact...At 23.0 feet, The upper campsites at the Thousand Trails
  Preserve off US64 begin to flood.
* Impact...At 25.0 feet, Flooding closes Sowers Road near Linwood
  and Hollywood Drive at Grub Ferry road. A campground on Hannah
  Ferry Road is flooded. Flooding also threatens the pumping station
  at Davidson, Incorporated.
* Flood History...This crest compares to a previous crest of 25.8
  feet on 01/26/2010.

* At 1025 AM EDT, A high flow event was ongoing for the North
  Georgia Power Reservoir system.  Lake shore flooding and flooding
  of other low lying areas remains likely.  This includes but is not
  limited to Lake Rabun and Bear Gap Roads, parts of Shady Lane and
  Mathis Dam Road, and Joy Bridge Road may also be closed.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
  Tallulah Falls, Lake Rabun, Lakemont, Tallulah Gorge State Park,
  Lake Burton and Seed Lake.

* Flood stage is 9.5 feet.
* Forecast...The river crested at 8.7 feet this afternoon, has
  fallen to near 7 feet late this evening and will continue to
  gradually drop overnight.
* Impact...At 6.5 feet, Action Stage. The French Broad River is
  exceeding its banks and beginning to flood low-lying areas,
  including the Woodfin Riverside Park, the floodplain adjacent to
  Craggy Dam Reservoir, Carrier Park, and French Broad River Park.
* Impact...At 7.5 feet, Action stage flooding continues.  French
  Broad River floodwaters continue to flood Woodfin Riverside Park,
  the floodplain adjacent to Craggy Dam Reservoir, Carrier Park, and
