...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in
Mississippi..

  Pearl River Near Rockport affecting Copiah and Simpson Counties
  Pearl River Near Monticello affecting Lawrence County
  Pearl River Near Columbia affecting Marion County

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Do not drive or walk through areas where water covers roadway! The
water may be deeper than it appears. Remember...Turn around, don`t
drown!

Please note that forecast crests are based upon rainfall that has
occurred along with forecast rainfall for the next 48 hours.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Pearl River Near Columbia
* until further notice.
* At  9:15 AM Wednesday the stage was 22.7 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 17.0 feet.
* Forecast...The river will continue rising to near 25.0 feet early
  Sunday afternoon.
* Flood history...This crest compares to a previous crest of 25.1 feet
  on Dec 27 1961.
* Impact...At 24.0 feet...Extensive flooding occurs in Morgantown and
  Foxworth. Some minor flooding begins in Spring Cottage.
* Impact...At 23.6 feet...Water begins to top Highway 587.
