...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Indiana...

  East Fork White River at Seymour.

  East Fork White River near Rivervale.

.Main stem rivers in central and southern Indiana continue to flood
as a result of rainfall of 2 to 4 plus inches that fell last week.
Most creeks and streams have fallen below flood stage, though
some are near bankfull.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Caution is urged when walking near riverbanks.

Even 6 inches of fast-moving flood water can knock you off your feet
and a depth of 2 feet will float your car. Never try to walk, swim,
or drive through such swift water. If you come upon flood waters,
stop, turn around and go another way.

* WHAT...Minor flooding is occurring and minor flooding is forecast.

* WHERE...East Fork White River at Seymour.

* WHEN...Until Wednesday morning.

* IMPACTS...At 16.4 feet, State Road 258 remained open after the
  river rebounded quickly to this level in June 2010. State Road 258
  had been flooded a few days earlier after river crested at 17.9
  feet.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 9:45 AM EDT Sunday the stage was 16.4 feet.
  - Recent Activity...The maximum river stage in the 24 hours
    ending at 9:45 AM EDT Sunday was 16.6 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to fall below flood stage
    Tuesday evening and continue falling and remain below flood
    stage.
  - Flood stage is 12.0 feet.

  east of Delta Avenue upstream to near Coney Island to near Eight
  Mile Road are flooded, as well as parts of Humbert Avenue in the
  East End of Cincinnati.  Most of Public Landing is flooded, as
  well as Riverside Park off River Road.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
  - At 3:00 PM EDT Sunday the stage was 49.5 feet.
  - Forecast...The river is expected to rise to a crest of 51.7
    feet early Tuesday afternoon.
  - Action stage is 40.0 feet.
  - Flood stage is 52.0 feet.

Through This Evening...

Relative humidity near 30 percent or lower combined with southwest
winds gusting as high as 20 to 30 mph will lead an increased risk
of wildfires through early this evening. Around sunset, humidity
will increase and wind gusts will diminish.

Remember that under KY law, it is illegal to burn within 150 feet
of any woodland or brushland between 6 AM and 6 PM during the
Spring Fire Season that runs through April 30th.

...Enhanced Fire Danger This Afternoon...

The combination of low relative humidity of 20 to 30 percent,
southwest winds at 10 to 20 mph, gusts around 25 to 35 mph, sunny
skies, and temperatures in the low 80s will lead to a locally
enhanced fire threat this afternoon in exposed areas where fuels
have been able to lose moisture. Use caution if planning outdoor
burning this afternoon in the warm, windy conditions.
