  Rockingham, Shenandoah and Warren Counties including the
  Northern Virginia Blue Ridge, and in eastern West Virginia,
  Hardy and Pendleton Counties.

* From noon to 8 PM EDT this afternoon.

* Showers and thunderstorms capable of heavy rain may result in
  flash flooding this afternoon. Localized rainfall amounts of 1
  to 3 inches are possible.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Flash Flood Watch means that conditions may develop that lead
to flash flooding. Flash flooding is a very dangerous situation.

...COASTAL FLOOD ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 AM EDT THIS MORNING...

The National Weather Service in Baltimore MD/Washington has
issued a Coastal Flood Advisory, which is in effect until 8 AM
EDT this morning.

* LOCATIONS...Shoreline in the District of Columbia.

* TIDAL DEPARTURE...Between three quarters and one foot above
  normal.

* TIMING...Around the time of high tide. High tide at Washington
  Channel will be at 6:24 AM.

* IMPACTS...Shoreline inundation is expected along portions of
  the seawall adjacent to Ohio Drive and the Hains Point Loop
  Road, and near the Tidal Basin and Jefferson Memorial. Minor
  shoreline inundation is possible elsewhere.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Coastal Flood Advisory indicates that onshore winds and tides
will combine to generate flooding of low areas along the shore.
