...The Flood Warning continues for the following rivers in Tennessee...

  Tennessee River At Clifton affecting Decatur...Hardin...Perry and Wayne
  Counties

.Heavy rainfall earlier this month will keep the Tennessee River levels
elevated the rest of this week.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

Avoid flooded areas along the river...And move personal belongings to higher
ground. Never drive through flooded roads as the depth of water may be too great
to pass...Even in trucks or sport utility vehicles. If you come across a flooded
road...Turn around don`t drown.

Stay tuned to NOAA weather radio or other local media for further information
from the National Weather Service.

The Flood Warning continues for
  The Tennessee River At Clifton
* Until further notice.
* At 10PM Wednesday the estimated stage was 378.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Action stage is 364.0 feet.
* Flood stage is 370.0 feet.
* The river will continue to slowly fall the rest of this week.
* At 378.0 feet...In Wayne County, portions of Route 128 north of Clifton begin
  to flood.
* At 376.0 feet...In Decatur County, water reaches the ground floor of homes in
  the Russ Farm area. In the Martins Landing subdivision, water inundates the
  boat launch and landing area and may inundate the ground floor of homes in the
  area. Access may be limited due to flooded roads.

* At 10 PM Wednesday the stage was 386.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring AND Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 370.0 feet.
* At 386.0 feet...Highway 69 at Prong Doe Creek just north of Satillo
  is flooded. Edgehill is flooding.

* until further notice.
* At 10 PM Wednesday the stage was 371.4 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring AND Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Flood stage is 365.0 feet.
* At 372.0 feet...In Decatur County, at Cherokee Heights, the
  entrance to parking lot to boat launch area is flooded. Main
  evacuation road to Lost Creek Boat Dock and Landing closes.
