Excessive Heat Watch

URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE
National Weather Service Medford OR
210 PM PDT Sat Jul 21 2018

...Long-duration heat wave expected next week...

.A very hot air mass, even for late July standards, will affect
the forecast area next week. Daily record high temperatures are
possible in areas that don`t experience heavy smoke. Even in areas
that do experience some smoke and don`t get as hot as possible,
temperatures will still be 5 to 10 degrees above normal for
several days. Additionally, smoke will exacerbate any heat related
issues for vulnerable populations. There is potential for this
heat wave to last through Thursday.
