  this evening.
* Impact...At 10.0 feet...Water affects low lying areas of
  residential property in the City of Jefferson. Rock River Park and
  boat launch is affected north of town near Hwy B.

* Impact...At 10.5 feet...Floodwaters reach Oxbow Bend Road in the
  area of the gage on the east side of the lake.

* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
  Tuesday evening.
* Impact...At 16.5 feet...In the Fort Atkinson area, the following
  roads are closed: Sinnissippi Drive, Bark River Road from Kutz Road
  to Rock River Road, and Rock River Road from Highway 106 to the
  Fort Atkinson city limits. Water is in park land near the river in
  Fort Atkinson.

* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to a stage of 10.1 feet
  by tomorrow morning.
* Impact...At 10.1 feet...Floodwaters affect the property of a home
  on South Christian Road on the east side of the river in the Afton
  area. Minor erosional flood damage occurs to lowland and
  agricultural land adjacent to the river the Afton and Janesville
  areas. This level is the 20 percent chance flood meaning that there
  is a 20 percent chance in any given year of the river reaching this
  level.

The National Weather Service in Milwaukee/Sullivan has issued a
Dense Fog Advisory...which is in effect until 9 AM CDT this
morning.

* TIMING...Until 9 AM CDT.

* VISIBILITY...Less than 1/4 mile. Visibilities may be lowest in
  western portions of Green Lake, Columbia, Dane, and Green
  counties.

* IMPACTS...Driving could be difficult and hazardous at times due
  to low visibility.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Dense Fog Advisory means visibilities will frequently be
reduced to less than one quarter mile. If driving...slow down...
use your headlights...and leave plenty of distance ahead of you.

Areas of dense fog, with visibilities of 1/4 mile or less, will be
possible across the area this morning. The dense fog is expected
to continue through mid-morning before slowly lifting.

Motorists traveling across the region this morning can expect
poor or rapidly changing visibilities at times. Remember to turn
on your low-beam headlights and allow extra distance between you
and the car in front of you.
