...The flood warning continues for the following rivers in
Illinois...Kentucky...Missouri...

  Ohio River at Smithland Dam
  Ohio River at Paducah
  Ohio River at Olmsted Lock and Dam
  Ohio River at Cairo

.The Ohio River will continue to fall to below flood stage Tuesday
morning at Smithland, Thursday at Paducah, and next weekend at
Olmsted and Cairo.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

SAFETY MESSAGE...

Never drive cars...trucks or sport utility vehicles through flooded
areas. The water may be too deep to allow safe passage. Never allow
children to play in or near flood waters. Stay tuned to NOAA Weather
Radio or your local media for further statements and possible updated
forecasts.

* until Sunday April 12.
* At 10:00 AM Friday the stage was 52.2 feet.
* Flood Stage is 40.0 feet.
* Moderate flooding is occurring and Moderate flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
  Sunday, April 12th.

  Mississippi River at Cape Girardeau
  Mississippi River at Thebes
  Mississippi River at New Madrid

.The Mississippi River will fall below flood stage Thursday at Thebes,
and next weekend at Cape Girardeau, and New Madrid.

* until Saturday April 11.
* At 11:00 AM Friday the stage was 40.0 feet.
* Flood Stage is 34.0 feet.
* Minor flooding is occurring and Minor flooding is forecast.
* Forecast...The river will continue to fall to below flood stage by
  Saturday, April 11th.
* Impact...At 38.0 Feet...Heavy agricultural damage begins.
