SOUTHEASTERN BENNETT COUNTY...

County officials, local law enforcement, and automated reporting
gauges indicate that major flooding continues along the Little White
River in Bennett County. Most county roads near the river are
impassable or have been washed out as a result of the flooding.
Ongoing snowmelt and light precipitation tonight will allow flooding
to continue through at least tomorrow morning.

Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Areas along the Little White River and Lake Creek from west of
Martin to Tuthill to the Todd County line.

Little Missouri River at Camp Crook. Warming temperatures through
the middle of the week will lead to further snowmelt and ice
break-up along the river, contributing to continued high flows and
potential ice jams. As a result, flooding will continue through much
of the week, with fluctuating river levels and additional rises
possible.

management report that minor flooding continues due to snowmelt and
drainage issues. Many rural or county roads have been washed out or
are impassable in Bennett and Oglala Lakota Counties. Several roads
are closed in Pennington County, including the 164th Avenue bridge
located 2 miles south of Highway 1416. Additionally, Highway 63
remains closed at the White River crossing in Jackson County.

Flooding also continues along the Bad, Cheyenne, Little White, and

located 2 miles south of Highway 1416. Additionally, Highway 63
remains closed at the White River crossing in Jackson County.
