National Water Model Hydrograph
Official NWS streamflow forecasts are produced by NWS hydrologic forecasters for river gauge locations using hydrologic models which are calibrated to that location. This process considers additional guidance and information, including local expertise and experience, to produce the best forecast possible. The NWM output provides supplemental guidance to NWS forecasters and should not be considered an official NWS river forecast.
Flood Impacts
- 18 - Home flooded on the left bank downstream side of the river near the bridge. Between 18 and 20 feet, Back Mountain Road, Route 1, River Road Route 1 over 19, the Greenbrier Trail, and some additional homes near Glade Run and Clover Lick Creek near the Greenbrier River are flooded.
- 16 - Route 1 over 4 Laural Mountain Road is impassable near the river. Low areas along streams and creeks that flow into the Greenbrier are flooded, as are sections of the Greenbrier Trail near the river.
- 13 - Local Route 1 over 4 Laurel Run Road flooded on both sides of the 1 over 4 bridge.
