This process considers additional guidance and information, including local expertise and experience, to produce the best forecast possible. The NWM output provides supplemental guidance to NWS forecasters and should not be considered an official NWS river forecast.
Flood Impacts
- 28 - The bridge at the river gage site on River Park Road will flood.
- 27 - A considerable portion of Highway 50 will be underwater south of the gage site mainly east of River Park Road.
- 25 - About a 500 ft wide overflow may be expected across Highway 50, located about 6 miles south of the gage site around River Park Road. Directly south of the gage expect the low lying area to be inundated for a few miles. North of the gage, overflow may be about half mile wide. Expect fields and cropland to be flooded.
