National Water Model Hydrograph
Official NWS streamflow forecasts are produced by NWS hydrologic forecasters for river gauge locations using hydrologic models which are calibrated to that location. This process considers additional guidance and information, including local expertise and experience, to produce the best forecast possible. The NWM output provides supplemental guidance to NWS forecasters and should not be considered an official NWS river forecast.
Flood Impacts
- 12 - Moderate flooding begins. Significant flooding expands further into the woodlands and fields along the creek downstream from the Rocky Mountain Lower Reservoir main dam. The Texas Valley Road bridge around two and one half miles downstream from the dam will be flooded with four feet of water. Residents will need to take an alternative route. Several pole barns and other farm structures will be affected by the flood waters. Water will be approaching the foundations of some homes on Texas Valley Road.
- 10 - Minor flooding expands further into the woodlands and fields along the creek downstream from the Rocky Mountain Lower Reservoir main dam. The shallow Texas Valley Road bridge around two and one half miles downstream from the dam will be flooded with water around two feet deep. Residents will need to take an alternative route.
- 9 - Minor flooding continues of the woodlands and fields along the creek downstream from the Rocky Mountain Lower Reservoir main dam. The shallow Texas Valley Road bridge around two and one half miles downstream from the dam will be flooded with water around one foot deep. Residents will need to take an alternative route.
