This process considers additional guidance and information, including local expertise and experience, to produce the best forecast possible. - 9.5 - Flood stage. Low-lying areas begin to flood. Homes near the North Platte River have basement flooding. Campgrounds near the river at Bridgeport State Recreational Area will begin to be inaccessible due to high water.
