Official NWS streamflow forecasts are produced by NWS hydrologic forecasters for river gauge locations using hydrologic models which are calibrated to that location. This process considers additional guidance and information, including local expertise and experience, to produce the best forecast possible. The NWM output provides supplemental guidance to NWS forecasters and should not be considered an official NWS river forecast.
Flood Impacts
- 21 - Major flooding near the river. Several sections of Route 80 and secondary roads are flooded. Some homes near the river are flooded. The Sandlick elemenary school starts to flood. Playground and football field are flooded.
- 19 - Edwards grocery store parking lot, and lower level of store starts to flood between 18, and 19 feet. Sandlick elementary school playground is flooded. Sections of Route 80 are flooded. Bobe-sue's mini-mart gas station is flooded.
- 17 - Low point in elementary school playground starts to flood. Area behind Edwards grocery store is flooded. The Bobe-sue's mini-mart gas station starts to flood between 14, and 17 feet.
