National Water Model Hydrograph

This process considers additional guidance and information, including local expertise and experience, to produce the best forecast possible. The NWM output provides supplemental guidance to NWS forecasters and should not be considered an official NWS river forecast.
Flood Impacts
- 15 - Major Flood Stage. The Swannanoa River is approaching I-40 and has inundated The Oaks Trail steel foot bridge. Significant flooding of the nearby Ingles shopping center parking lot is likely.
- 12 - Moderate Flood Stage. The Swannanoa River is approaching The Oaks Trail steel foot bridge and the nearby Ingles shopping center parking lot. Significant flooding of Veterans Park, River Trail Loop, Veterans Park Dr., and The Oaks Trail is ongoing.
- 10 - Minor Flood Stage. Veterans Park flooding continues. Sections of River Trail Loop and The Oaks Trail are flooding. Veterans Park Dr. may be starting to flood.
