Effective November 7, 2022 the National Weather Service will move river forecast services from the Hudson River below Poughkeepsie (POUN6, USGS 01372058) gage to the Hudson River near Poughkeepsie (PKMN6, USGS 01372043) gage.

Additionally, the datum of the forecast point will change from the National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 (NGVD 29) to the North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD 88). As a result, flood stage and categories will be changing.
