Flood Impacts 🅘

  • 12 - Widespread long-lived residential flooding of hundreds of homes above Calallen occurs. This requires residents to be evacuated. Roads into the flood prone areas flood for miles, cutting off large residential areas for weeks. Massive flooding of roads near and around Calallen. Subdivisions evacuated include: County Road 73 in Riverside Addition 1 and 2, Riverside Annex, Twin Lakes, Riverside Acres, and homes in the Nueces River Estates and Lindgreen Estates. Hazel Bazemore Park and Labonte Park flood.
  • 9.5 - Residents are isolated upstream on the west side of the river for as much as six weeks. Widespread lowland flooding occurs, requiring evacuations. This includes the subdivisions of County Road 73 in Riverside Addition 1 and 2, Riverside Annex, Twin Lakes, Riverside Acres and homes in the Nueces River Estates and Lindgreen Estates. Hazel Bazemore Park and Labonte Park are inundated, and roads near the parks are flooded.
  • 9 - Widespread lowland flooding occurs, closing roads and cutting off many residences at times for weeks. Flooding of roads and residential areas near Calallen is widespread. Evacautions are required for the subdivisions of County Road 73 in Riverside Addition 1 and 2, Riverside Annex, Twin Lakes, Riverside Acres and homes in the Nueces River Estates and Lindgreen Estates. Hazel Bazemore Park and Labonte Park will are inundated.
