National Water Model Hydrograph
Official NWS streamflow forecasts are produced by NWS hydrologic forecasters for river gauge locations using hydrologic models which are calibrated to that location. This process considers additional guidance and information, including local expertise and experience, to produce the best forecast possible. The NWM output provides supplemental guidance to NWS forecasters and should not be considered an official NWS river forecast.
Flood Impacts
- 16 - Major Flood Stage. Water is several feet deep across floodplain on northern side of creek. Vineyards and local properties flooded, possibly exacerbated by backwatering of Lake Hennessey below. Local creek crossings inundated and impassable.
- 13.2 - Moderate Flood Stage. Water spilling onto left bank floodplain (north side of creek). Local crossings flooded and backwatered.
- 10.2 - Minor Flood Stage. Backwatering begins at local bridge crossings. Water level is approaching elevation of bridge decks, with possible overflow. NWS will issue a Flash Flood Warning if not yet already issued.
