National Water Model Hydrograph
Official NWS streamflow forecasts are produced by NWS hydrologic forecasters for river gauge locations using hydrologic models which are calibrated to that location. This process considers additional guidance and information, including local expertise and experience, to produce the best forecast possible. The NWM output provides supplemental guidance to NWS forecasters and should not be considered an official NWS river forecast.
Flood Impacts
- 17 - Major flooding begins. Widespread inundation flooding occurs in the fields and woodlands along the creek upstream and downstream from the stream gage at Flippen Road. The road will begin to flood with erosion likely to the earthen portion of the road bed over the concrete culvert. The flood waters will reach the foundations of homes on Jodeco Station Street.
- 15 - Moderate flooding begins. Significant flooding occurs in the fields and woodlands along the creek upstream and downstream from the stream gage at Flippen Road. The water level will be hitting the earthen portion of the road bed over the concrete culvert causing possible erosion. The water will begin to flood backyards of homes on Jodeco Station Street.
- 12 - Flood stage is reached. Minor flooding begins in the fields and woodlands along the creek upstream and downstream from the stream gage at Flippen Road. The water level will reach the top portion of the concrete culvert with maximum flow through it.
