Flood Impacts 🅘

  • 18.73 - Record stage and flow---19,400 cfs (9/5/1965).
  • 17.5 - Access to Weeping Rock Campground is very limited due to high water. One half of Slate Creek Campground may be under water. High water may obstruct passage of bridge on west end of Lincoln County Road 311. High water may also restrict safe passage to water pumping staion on sw side of bridge.
  • 16.5 - Flood stage. River begins to overflow into Weeping Rock Campground (immediately below dam) and into Slate Creek Campground (3-3.5 mile downstream). USBR personnel will evacuate campgrounds in event of a flood emergency.
