Flood Impacts 🅘

  • 35 - High banks on the north side of the river overflow. Major flooding occurs throughout the Gila River valley. This level is below the flood of record, 200,000 cfs, which occurred on January 22nd, 1916.
  • 30 - Major damage occurs throughout the area. All but the highest banks overflow in the immediate area of the gage.
  • 26.81 - Peak flow of March 3rd, 1993 is reached. This is the flow of record since Painted Rock Dam was constructed. Extensive flooding occurs along the Gila River.
