Official NWS streamflow forecasts are produced by NWS hydrologic forecasters for river gauge locations using hydrologic models which are calibrated to that location. This process considers additional guidance and information, including local expertise and experience, to produce the best forecast possible. The NWM output provides supplemental guidance to NWS forecasters and should not be considered an official NWS river forecast.
Flood Impacts
- 18 - expect major flooding of low-lying areas from Cloverdale and Highway 58 downstream to the confluence with the Middle Fork of the Willamette near Springfield. Flooding of residential areas along Devonshire Drive, Dilley Lane, and near Seavey Loop Road north of Highway 58 near Goshen is likely.
- 15 - expect some flooding of the neighborhood along Dilley Lane and Fremont Avenue just north of Hwy 58 and west of the Coast Fork Willamette. There will also be widespread flooding of fields and wetlands from Cloverdale Road near Creswell downstream to Highway 58.
- 13 - expect minor flooding of low-lying areas along the Coast Fork from Cloverdale and Hwy 58 downstream to the confluence with the Middle Fork of the Willamette near Springfield. Some flooding of roads and property northwest of Hwy 58 near Goshen is possible.
