Flood Impacts 🅘

  • 32.5 - expect major flooding of lowland areas and roads in the vicinity of Hwy 4 and Rosburg. Numerous road closures are likely, including Covered Bridge Road where the river gage is located, Satterlund Road upstream of the gage, and the following downstream of the gage: Altoona Piller Rock Road, including bridge approaches, Loop Road, and Barr Road. Some homes and buildings in low areas near the river are threatened with flooding above this level.
  • 30.5 - expect widespread lowland flooding and numerous flooded roads near Rosburg and Hwy 4. These include Covered Bridge Road near the gage and the roadway approaches to the Altoona Bridge downstream of the gage.
  • 28.5 - expect some flooding of roads along and near the Grays River, especially downstream of the gage, including roadway approaches to the Altoona Bridge over the Grays, and portions of Covered Bridge Road, Barr-Durrah Road, and Loop Road near Rosburg and Hwy 4.
