National Water Model Hydrograph
Official NWS streamflow forecasts are produced by NWS hydrologic forecasters for river gauge locations using hydrologic models which are calibrated to that location. This process considers additional guidance and information, including local expertise and experience, to produce the best forecast possible. The NWM output provides supplemental guidance to NWS forecasters and should not be considered an official NWS river forecast.
Flood Impacts
- 11.7 - Access to the Flying M Ranch is limited due to water over Old Idaho Stage Road. Flood waters up to a foot deep are possible on Tungsten Road, but the road may remain passable to high clearance, four-wheel drive vehicles.
- 10.3 - Minor flooding of Tungsten Road south of the river between the river and the Pit Taylor Canal. Some minor low land flooding is possible very near the river from the Humboldt County line to Rye Patch. At a higher level access to Flying M Ranch via Old Idaho Stage Road is flooded.
