Flood Impacts
- 1015 - flooding of Little Cottonwood Creek at Crestwood Park is expected to cause major damage to structures abutting the creek, including areas near Murray Park. Additionally, State St. can expect flooding and standing water in the northbound lanes. Areas near Wheeler Farm and structures lining the banks can expect major flood damage, and depending on the length of the flood, major property damage is expected to follow.
- 900 - flooding of Little Cottonwood Creek at Crestwood Park will result in moderate damage to structures lining the banks. This includes areas near Murray Park, and State St. in the northbound lanes. Structures adjacent to the creek in the town of Murray will most likely experience severe bank erosion, and depending on the length of the flood, will probably experience major property damage.
- 800 - flooding of Little Cottonwood Creek at Crestwood Park is expected to produce minor flooding to structures adjacent to Murray Park. Additionally State St. in the northbound lanes will receive water and ponding, impeding traffic. Major bank erosion along the stream will occur in many locations throughout the town of Murray, and in some locations lead to structural damage depending on the length of the flood.
